overview
Your first step toward recovery
When preparing for your first physical therapy appointment, you can expect a thorough evaluation that will lay the groundwork for your treatment. Your therapist will assess your condition—taking into consideration your medical history and current symptoms—to identify the root causes of your issues. Based on this evaluation, they will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and recovery goals, ensuring the most effective path to healing.
Schedule Evaluation
Choose a time and date that works best for your initial appointment. These usually last between 60 to 90 minutes, so plan accordingly.
Attend Evaluation
Please bring your ID, insurance card, and referral slip (if you have one), and arrive 15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. Wear comfortable clothing, such as sweatpants or shorts, a t-shirt or tank top, and sneakers, as you’ll be engaging in physical activities.
Ongoing Treatment
The frequency of your sessions will be determined after your initial evaluation, ensuring the best possible outcome for your recovery.
